From the autumn of 2022, hihilulu Atelier has been installed on the beautiful campus of Lexington Montessori School (LMS), in Boston, where kids at different ages enjoy personalized education and full development. As LMS always does, “embracing and challenging the world with compassion, resilience and courage”, it embraces early Chinese learning for children with the help of hihilulu.
According to the length of each session and corresponding seasonal themes, hihilulu has created fully customized programs. In the first session, the program focused on the introduction of specific feature of pictogram and ideogram of Chinese characters, as well as cultural topics such as food, Chinese Kongfu etc.. Since the opening session fell in Christmas season, the program also covered a cultural comparison topic “East vs West”. Through these cultural topics and activities, hihilulu Chinese atelier aims to arouse kids’ interests in the exploration of a distant language and enhance their awareness of culture difference.
