UN Chinese Language Day is observed annually on April 20. The event was established by the UN in 2010, seeking "to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity as well as to promote equal use of all six of its official working languages throughout the organization"
A lot of people think Chinese is a notoriously difficult language to learn. Yes or no, a good method makes Chinese learning easy and fun, especially for KIDS!
Here are three 三 reasons why learning Chinese from early age:
1. A brain exercise
As a logographic language with four lexical tones, Chinese learning engages more brain regions for visuospatial analysis and orthographic-semantic processing. Children before 10 years old are at a critical period of language acquisition and of brain development. They are naturally visual and sound sensitive, therefore, they are more capable to pick up tones, recognize visual-spatial relation of Chinese characters and connect the semantic knowledge with forms of characters.
Our brain loves exercise and would light up more zones to face the challenge. Learning Chinese is definitely a great sport for the brain!

2. Open a new communication channel
Chinese is a language with the most speakers in the world. And Chinese people are more than happy to talk with a non-native who speaks their language. Being able to speak Chinese, fluent or not, always makes traveling, working, personal relations much easier.
3. Increase global awareness and culture understanding
As it's said " the limits of my language is the limits of my world", learning Chinese will open another horizon, not only to Chinese culture and history, but the culture and history of a lots Asia countries where ancient Chinese language, culture and literature had a lot of influence on. Most importantly, kids will have high tolerance to the diversity, enjoy different beauty of this world.
